DESCRIPTION AND MAINTENANCE

Singular Logistics’ O-RGV (Overhead Rail Guided Vehicle) overhead load transport system is based on the FLEXITRACK electric rail, featuring vehicles equipped with an autonomous, decentralized control system that allows them to operate independently. Each vehicle carries a complete map of the circuit (E-MAP) and communicates with the others via Wi-Fi, determining the fastest and most efficient routes based on both transport requests and current traffic conditions. The system is fully configurable and requires zero vehicle programming for each application, including route modifications and system expansions.

Unlike traditional systems that rely on expensive materials such as aluminium, FLEXITRACK electric rails are manufactured using standard IPE steel profiles, providing a significantly more cost-effective solution. Crossings and intersections are managed by static switches with no moving parts, motors or sensors, eliminating one of the main maintenance points found in conventional rail systems. The overhead rail operates at 48 V DC, ensuring electrical safety throughout the installation, and can be modified using conventional metalworking techniques without the need for high-precision processes or specialized equipment.

Ultimately, our O-RGV system delivers the same core capabilities as traditional overhead rail systems, but at a significantly lower cost. It enables 24/7 operation without batteries, requires less maintenance, is simpler to install, and offers outstanding flexibility and scalability. In its standard configuration, each vehicle is equipped with an onboard roller or chain conveyor to automate loading and unloading operations. At the stations, the system can be integrated with additional roller and chain conveyors, flow racks and other material handling equipment.

SL-1500 O-RGV – HEAVY LOAD TRANSPORT SYSTEM


The SL-1500 O-RGV front-loading system is Singular Logistics’ solution specifically designed for transporting heavy palletized loads of up to 1,500 kg, with no limitations on load dimensions. Process automation is enabled by an onboard chain or roller conveyor that performs loading and unloading operations autonomously.

The flexibility of the SL-1500 O-RGV front-loading system allows the type of load being transported to be fully customized, going beyond conventional pallets. Different loading systems can be designed to meet the specific requirements of each application, including custom accessories such as magnetic grippers and clamps.

The key advantage of overhead transport systems is that they free up valuable floor space within the production facility for other activities. This makes the SL-1500 O-RGV ideal for existing facilities where a conventional transport system cannot be installed, as well as for industries requiring high levels of hygiene and cleanliness, where dedicated equipment can operate continuously without interrupting production.​
