DESCRIPTION AND MAINTENANCE
The SL-100 OHT (Overhead Hoist Transport) system from Singular Logistics is based on a FLEXITRACK overhead rail featuring vehicles equipped with a decentralized autonomous control system that allows them to operate independently. Each vehicle carries a complete map of the circuit (E-MAP) and communicates with the other vehicles via Wi-Fi, determining the fastest and most efficient routes based on both incoming transport requests and current traffic conditions. The system is fully configurable and requires zero programming for each application, including route modifications and system expansions.
Unlike conventional systems that rely on expensive materials such as aluminium, FLEXITRACK overhead rails are manufactured using standard IPE steel profiles, providing a significantly more cost-effective solution. Crossings and intersections are managed by static switches with no moving parts, motors or sensors, eliminating one of the main maintenance points found in traditional overhead rail systems. The rail operates at 48 V DC, ensuring electrical safety throughout the installation, and can be modified using conventional metalworking techniques without the need for high-precision processes or specialized equipment.

SL-100 OHT – LIGHT LOAD TRANSPORT SYSTEM
The SL-100 OHT is Singular Logistics’ solution specifically designed for transporting light loads of up to 100 kg in boxes of any size. Its key feature is the ability to lower to the operating level to perform loading and unloading operations without the need for additional infrastructure.
In its standard configuration, the stations are compatible with those used by the SL-100 O-RGV, including roller tables, conveyor belts, flow racks, chutes and other material handling equipment. This combines the flexibility of vertical movement with the same versatility when integrating the system into the plant.
The main advantage of the SL-100 OHT is its ability to adapt to facilities where loading and unloading stations are located at different heights, while also freeing valuable floor space within the production facility for other activities.
